Old Artwork:
These two characters were drawn on different pages, and at different times...I think I drew Tsurugi several months before I drew the image of Jaq. (Jaq is, by the way, a character drawing for an online roleplaying friend....she also played Kiri Wu Long) Tsurugi and Jaq were best friends until Tsurugi died, and the drawing of Jaq was done after that happened. So she's carrying his swords, and so is he. Heh. The point of putting these two drawings together was really for perspective; Jaq is 5'11", and Tsurugi is 7'8"(yah, he was a big dude). This is the only drawing of Tsurugi that I sort of liked; I was never able to really depict him properly(maybe I should give it another try, I've improved a lot since drawing these). You can also see the difference in ability in the two characters; Tsurugi has far less detail work than Jaq. |
