More OpenCanvas!!
This is the completed lineart, barring small changes I might make during the coloring process. I added a new layer on top of the preliminary sketch, toned the prelim down to 50% opacity, and went over it more carefully. I flipped the thing over a bunch while doing this too, as you can tell cuz it's reversed from the first image. This has always helped me with lineart, though it's easier in CG(on paper I have to hold the page up to some lightsource and look at it from the back side) This is a good thing to do when making CG lineart, for me anyway, because it helps me get the image in a position where I can make long sweeping strokes for hair and such without having to twist my wrist unnaturally. I even flipped it upside down a couple times. [link] to the previous step, Preliminary Sketch [link] to the next step, Background and Skintone Base |
